Honestly, when people show evil intent and make up lies about purchasing items from our company, I would see no need to address such nonsense BUT, it seems there has been a few people going from site to site and group to group to defame this company and ME PERSONALLY.  Because this group has been harassing us to the point of illegal, I thought maybe people would want to hear our truth of the situation.

First of all, Rollerskating Divas is NOT a skate shop.  Rollerskating Divas sprouted from a FB I created for those of us who enjoy dressing up cute and mixing rollerskating with fashion.  It was never intended to compete with skate shops.  We are a clothing and apparel site.

Now, I admit... I got a bit carried away adding stuff to the site that I really shouldn't have added and the site as of now is a big hodge podge of stuff.  We are in the middle of paring down what we sell and making it more unique to our exclusive items. 

I added some low end roller skates that were offered from one of our suppliers, simply because there is such a shortage, I figured that even if they are low quality, they would be better than not having anything to skate with in the meantime.  These aren't meant for skate parks or derby or anything of the sort... as a matter of fact, look at my previous blog where I recommend outdoor skates.  I recommended several skates to start with, absolutely none are carried on this site. So, in no way have I ever tried to scam anyone or mislead anyone.  Those skates are still available and will stay available on our site.

Now... apparently there were some bearings that were packaged in what looked like Bones boxes... they were on our site.  I had no idea things like bearings would be counterfeited... apparently, that is a thing.  Were they counterfeit? Not that I am aware... again, no idea such a thing existed BUT, the day the accusation was made, I removed them from our site until they could be verified as authentic and if not, they will not be put back on the site.

Since then, there has been a group of relentless bullies who have been shouting from the roof tops in every group and on every site they can get away with telling people that I am defrauding people... because of said bearings.  They have come to groups, to our business FB page, our FB group, and every other FB group that is about roller skating... their entire goal was not to help "beginner skaters," their goal has been to defame the company and me personally.  I'm not sure why there is such hate spewing from them but, I'm not worried about them so much as I am concerned that their personal attack on me is also affecting my family and friends.  It has gotten to the point of complete slander and defamation and we will seek legal actions as a result.

I would in no way EVER rip ANYONE off. I am a single mother with two children... I started this business with my 17 year old daughter.  It was not something we started thinking we would get rich off of selling counterfeit bearings, contrary to what these people would love for you to believe.  We started this store and the group because we love to roller skate and we love to dress up in the cutest fashion while doing it and wanted to share that with like minded people.  We hope that we can continue to do so with you all for years to come!!!

Our site and group is a place for fun and positive vibes and we'd like to keep it that way.  This is the one and only time we will address this or anything in relation to it publicly.
